Guarantee | Millie & Jones
Last updated: June 2026
Peace of Mind with Every Purchase
At Millie & Jones, we work with established furniture and mattress manufacturers who stand behind their products. On many of our ranges, we also add our own extended cover on top of the manufacturer's guarantee — giving you longer reassurance than you'd get elsewhere on the same product.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them. Your legal rights in respect of faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory goods always apply, regardless of the guarantee.
Two Types of Cover
To be clear about who stands behind your product and for how long, our guarantees come in two forms:
-
Manufacturer's guarantee. Most products carry a guarantee provided by the manufacturer, on their terms. This is the baseline cover that comes with the product.
-
Millie & Jones extended guarantee. On selected ranges, we provide additional cover on top of the manufacturer's guarantee, which we honour directly. For example, on many of our children's beds the manufacturer provides a 2-year guarantee and Millie & Jones extends this to a total of 5 years — the additional years are backed by us.
The total guarantee period that applies to each product is clearly shown on its product page. Where a product benefits from our extended cover, the longer period shown is the one that applies to you.
Guarantee Overview
- All products include at least a 1-year guarantee.
- Selected brands and ranges include longer guarantees — up to 5 years on many children's beds, and up to 10 years on some mattress ranges — through a combination of manufacturer cover and, where applicable, our own extended cover.
- The applicable guarantee period is clearly shown on the product page.
- Guarantees apply to manufacturing faults, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
📌 Please note: removing product labels or serial numbers may affect eligibility for a guarantee claim.
What the Guarantee Typically Covers
Subject to assessment, a guarantee claim may cover manufacturing-related issues such as:
Beds & Furniture
- Faults with materials or components
- Problems with fittings or joints supplied with the product
Mattresses
- Manufacturing-related faults affecting the structure or materials
If a fault is confirmed, the remedy may be a repair, a replacement part, or a replacement product, in line with the applicable guarantee.
What's Not Covered
Guarantees do not usually cover:
- Accidental damage, stains, or misuse
- Wear and tear from everyday use
- Assembly that does not follow the supplied instructions
- Products that have been altered or modified
- Items sold as clearance, ex-display, or with pre-declared faults
(Your statutory rights in respect of genuinely faulty goods are unaffected by these exclusions.)
Guarantee Period
- The guarantee starts from the delivery date.
- The end date depends on the total guarantee length stated for the product.
- Please report any issue as soon as reasonably possible after noticing it.
📌 Disposing of a product before a claim has been assessed may affect the outcome of the claim.
How to Make a Guarantee Claim
If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, please contact us with:
- Photos or videos showing the issue
- Your order number and delivery details
- A brief description of the issue and how the product has been used
For mattress claims, additional information such as usage and bed-base/support details may be requested.

If an issue falls outside the guarantee, we'll still do our best to help where we can, including offering replacement parts or alternative solutions where available.
