Millie & Jones Warranty Overview
We take pride in offering high-quality products you can trust. To reinforce this, our manufacturer’s warranty covers any product purchased from Millie & Jones.
- Standard Warranty Period: All products purchased from August 2024 onwards come with a five-year warranty unless otherwise specified (usually on the product page itself). Purchases made before this date are covered by a one-year warranty.
- Warranty Scope: This warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal domestic use conditions.
- Important: Ensure all labels remain intact and not removed, as this could void your warranty.
Key Warranty Information
In the rare event that you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, the issue must be reported within 30 days of delivery. If the fault is covered by our warranty, you can choose from the following options:
- Receive a full refund, including any shipping fees, if applicable.
- Request a replacement part or a full product replacement if the original is discontinued.
We will handle the shipping costs associated with sending replacement parts or products back to you. However, if a small fault is discounted at purchase, the right to a return due to this issue will be voided.
What the Warranty Covers
- Materials & Craftsmanship: Covers defects in materials or craftsmanship, including sagging or indentations in mattresses (over 6 cm), or any physical flaws such as splitting or cracking.
- Mattress Deterioration: Deterioration of a mattress used on an appropriate base, leading to sagging over 6 cm or splitting of materials.
- Frames & Furniture: Covers faults with bed frames, divans, and furniture when used for normal domestic purposes.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty is voided in cases of mistreatment, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions, such as:
- Damage & Neglect: Includes burns, stains, splits, and damage caused by misuse or improper care.
- Improper Assembly: If bed frames or furniture are improperly assembled, causing damage, the warranty is void.
- Incorrect Use: Using mattresses without proper support or on unsuitable bases, or failing to rotate/flip mattresses where required.
- Alterations: Modifying any product, such as drilling holes in bed frames, will void the warranty.
- Resale or Pre-owned Products: Products sold by resellers or marked as preconditioned, reconditioned, used, or returned are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty Start and End Dates
- Start Date: The warranty begins on the day your product is delivered.
- End Date: Coverage ends five years from the date of delivery.
To ensure your warranty claim is valid, report any damage within 24 hours of it occurring. Disposal of an item before a claim decision has been made will void the warranty.
Making a Claim
To file a warranty claim, please provide the following:
- Photos or videos of the defect
- Measurements of indentations or sagging
- Weight of the product user(s)
- Order details, including your name and address
- A description of the issue
- Information about the product’s base or surface (for mattresses)
If the Product is Not Covered
If the product does not qualify for warranty coverage, we can offer to send a replacement at your expense or assist with disposal for a fee.
