Many of our bestselling beds offer a Choose Your Delivery Date option on the product page or at checkout.
You’ll see a date picker if:
The item is in stock, and
It qualifies for next-day or scheduled delivery
If no date picker is shown:
Don’t worry — this simply means the item has a slightly longer lead time, displayed on the product page. Once your order is ready, our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

For brands where we offer in-house Room of Choice & Assembly, your delivery will be handled by our specialist team. They will:
Deliver to any room in your home
Assemble the bed
Remove all packaging
Taskrabbit Assembly (Most Other Beds)
For the majority of our products, we partner with Taskrabbit, the UK’s leading home-assembly platform.
How it works:
Once your bed has arrived, click the link in your confirmation email
Enter your postcode to view local Taskers
Choose your preferred Tasker based on price, reviews, and availability
Book directly from as little as £20/hour
Taskrabbit is IKEA’s official assembly partner and has thousands of trusted experts across the UK.
⚠️ Important: Assembly Responsibilities & Fees
1. You must be home at the agreed delivery/assembly time
If you are not available:
The assembly team cannot wait on site
A redelivery or reassembly fee will apply
Our in-house team may not be able to return for 2-3 weeks depending on your location
2. The room must be ready for assembly
This means:
The space is clear and accessible
Existing furniture is removed if required
Floors and pathways are free of clutter
If the team cannot complete the assembly due to lack of space or unsafe conditions:
The assembly will be cancelled
A reassembly fee will apply
The team will deliver the boxes to your hallway or ground floor only
3. For Taskrabbit bookings
Taskrabbit is a separate service, and:
Fees are set by the individual Tasker
Cancellation or “no access” charges are handled directly through Taskrabbit
Millie & Jones cannot refund or cover Taskrabbit costs
🔁 Rearranging Delivery
You can reschedule your delivery free of charge up until 12pm the working day before your delivery date.
After this cut-off:
A redelivery fee will apply
This also applies if the courier cannot access your property or you are not home
❗ Missed Deliveries & Access Issues
A redelivery fee will apply if:
You are not available at the agreed time
The property is inaccessible (e.g., gates locked, road closures, incorrect address)
Delivery cannot be completed due to access limitations you did not inform us about
If you would like the delivery left with a neighbour or in a safe place, please contact us beforehand so we can confirm whether this is possible.
