At what age should a toddler have their own bed?

When does a toddler bed become too small?

Firstly, consider the height and weight limits of the toddler bed. It’s important for your child to be comfortable, and outgrowing the length of the bed can be an issue, though most toddler beds accommodate height reasonably well. However, toddler mattresses are usually quite narrow, which is often outgrown first.

Weight is another critical factor. Toddler beds are not designed to support the weight of older children. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, most toddler beds are built to support up to 50 pounds or 22 kilos.

Beautiful bunk beds

Kids do love these, our grandchildren can testify to this, they love them and of course there’s the usual argument about who sleeps at the top 😂. They take a long time to make, so put aside half a day, all bunk beds do I’m sure. I find it tricky to make the top one (that could be because I’m not as agile as I once was of course!!). The bookcases on each level are a wonderful addition for toys & games. Paintwork does mark if you’re not careful, but overall it’s a great addition to the house.
The box was quite damaged when it arrived, however the product was so well insulated, the beds inside where totally fine and unmarked.
Lastly, I need to give a huge round of applause to the unflappable and always available customer service, it is second to none, very impressed!!

Fantastic bed and Great Service

Great customer service. The delivery guy was really helpful as well and carried it to the room for me as I couldn’t lift it on my own. Love the bed and it looks amazing, my kid is over the moon and can’t wait for her bestie to sleep over on the sofa bed. I built it on my own without an electric screwdriver in a small room, so it took all day but the end result is awesome!

Despite a few teething troubles where our original order became unavailable from the supplier we are very happy, the communication and customer service was excellent. Things do not always go to plan but it's how a company deals with this that matters and Millie and Jones were great sourcing us an alternative product at a reduced price! Very happy. The quality of the bed is superb, although the assembly of a solid quality product takes a few hours, if you are not that confident with these tasks then pay for the assembly service.
