Welcome to Millie & Jones, operated by HCH Commerce Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and purchases made through it.

By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


1. Definitions

  • "Buyer": the customer placing the order.
  • "Seller": HCH Commerce Limited (trading as Millie & Jones).
  • "Goods": the products purchased via our website.
  • "Contract": the agreement formed when we confirm your order.

2. General

2.1 You must be 18+ to place an order.
2.2 These Terms apply to all online orders.
2.3 Product dimensions and colours are approximate. Images may include props not included with the item.
2.4 All items are sold subject to their product descriptions.
2.5 We may update these Terms from time to time.


3. Orders & Payment

3.1 Orders are subject to availability.
3.2 Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
3.3 We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, and Clearpay (subject to eligibility).
3.4 All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
3.5 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before or after order confirmation.


4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery is to mainland UK only.
4.2 Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
4.3 Delivery updates will be sent by email, text, or phone.
4.4 Ensure someone 18+ is available to accept delivery. Missed deliveries may incur redelivery fees.
4.5 Delivery dates are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control.
4.6 If our team helps carry items into your home, this is done at your own risk. We are not liable for damage to your property.
4.7 We do not remove or dispose of old furniture unless agreed in advance.
4.8 Inspect your delivery on arrival. Sign as “damaged” if packaging is visibly damaged. Do not sign as “unchecked.”
4.9 If you authorize a delivery to be left unattended, we are not responsible for loss or damage.


5. Ownership & Risk

5.1 Ownership of the Goods transfers to you once delivered and paid for in full.
5.2 You are responsible for the Goods from the moment of delivery.


6. Product Safety

6.1 All products comply with UK safety regulations.

Bunk Beds & High Sleepers
6.2 Top bunks and high sleepers are suitable only for children aged 6+ (BS EN 747).
6.3 Always adhere to the maximum mattress height in the product description.

Assembly & Maintenance
6.4 You are responsible for safe assembly using the provided instructions.
6.5 Regularly check and tighten fittings to maintain safety.

Weight Limits
6.6 Beds are tested to a weight limit of 76kg. Do not exceed this.


7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

7.1 You have 14 calendar days from the day after delivery to request a return under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
7.2 Goods must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging to qualify for a refund.
7.3 Mattresses cannot be returned once removed from their sealed packaging for hygiene reasons.
7.4 Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
7.5 Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods in acceptable condition.
7.6 If you miss your agreed delivery slot, a redelivery fee may apply.


8. Faulty or Damaged Items

8.1 Report faults within 30 days of delivery.
8.2 Do not assemble faulty items. Send us photos of the issue.
8.3 If the fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund.


9. Customer Responsibilities

9.1 Check that items will fit through doorways, stairwells, and into the intended room before purchasing.
9.2 We are not responsible if the item doesn’t fit.
9.3 Keep all packaging until assembly is complete. Returns without packaging may incur charges.
9.4 If you ask our drivers to assist with placing items indoors, any resulting damage is your responsibility.


10. Mattress Guidance

10.1 Vacuum-packed mattresses take up to 72 hours to fully expand.
10.2 Rotate or flip regularly to extend lifespan.
10.3 A mild odour may be present when unboxing; this is normal and fades over time.


11. Klarna & Clearpay Payment Options

We offer Klarna and Clearpay as flexible payment options at checkout. By selecting either option, you agree to their respective terms and conditions.

Klarna:
Klarna’s “Pay in 3” and “Pay in 30” options are unregulated credit agreements. 18+, UK residents only. Missing payments may affect your credit score. Subject to status. Klarna Terms & Info

Clearpay:
Clearpay allows you to pay in 4 interest-free instalments over 6 weeks. Late payments may incur fees and affect your ability to use the service. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Clearpay Terms & Info

Always ensure you can meet repayment obligations before using any 'Buy Now, Pay Later' service.


12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including strikes, weather, or transport disruptions. If delays last more than 45 days, you may cancel your order.


13. Intellectual Property

All website content—images, text, and design—is owned by HCH Commerce Limited. No content may be reproduced without our written permission.
