Our beds arrive flat-packed. On selected beds you can add Room of Choice assembly when you order, or for any bed you can book a local assembler through Taskrabbit once it has arrived.

Once your bed has arrived, book an assembler near you through Taskrabbit, the home services platform owned by IKEA.

How Room of Choice assembly works

    Choose the Room of Choice option on the bed's product page before checkout.

    We deliver to your room

    The team brings everything to the room you want the bed in, not just the front door.

    Your bed is built

    A professional two-person team assembles it, usually on the day of delivery.

    Packaging goes too

    All the packaging is taken away, so the room is ready to use.

    Arrange the time with your Tasker through Taskrabbit, which has its own guarantee for work booked on its platform.

Before you book anything

Wait until your order has arrived in full, then count the boxes and check for any damage before booking a Tasker or starting assembly. If anything is damaged or missing, email support@millieandjones.co.uk with photos first, and we'll sort it before assembly goes ahead.

We can't cover damage caused during assembly by a third party you've booked yourself, or the cost of services you arrange independently, such as time off work or a Tasker's fee. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Where Room of Choice assembly is available

It covers most of mainland Great Britain. It isn't currently available in these postcode areas, where we'd suggest booking through Taskrabbit instead:

Which beds can have Room of Choice assembly?

Any bed that shows the Room of Choice option on its product page. You can see them all in our beds with assembly collection.

Is the bed built on the day it's delivered?

Usually, yes. Room of Choice assembly takes place on the day of delivery wherever possible.

How much does assembly cost?

The Room of Choice price is shown on the product page when you add it. Taskers on Taskrabbit set their own hourly rates, which you'll see before you book.

Can I use Taskrabbit for any bed?

Yes. Taskrabbit works for any bed we sell, and for other furniture too. Book once your bed has arrived and you've checked it.

What if something is damaged or missing?

Email us with photos before any assembly starts, and we'll arrange a replacement part or a solution first.

Do you earn anything from Taskrabbit bookings?

We may earn a small referral commission when you book through our link. It doesn't change the price you pay.
