The Cabin Tent Bed is a hideaway for a little camper. A slanted wooden roof holds an ecru cloth canopy that can be let right down for bedtime, rolled up for playtime, or propped up on two support poles like an awning.
It's handmade to order in Belgium by Mathy by Bols, from PEFC-certified timber from sustainably managed forests, and painted in water-based, non-toxic colours. There are 26 colours to choose from, and a matching touch-up stick comes with the bed.
The low frame is easy for small children to climb in and out of, and it's suitable from age 3. Because it's made for your order, allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. It comes ready for self-assembly.
It comes in four sizes, for a UK single (90cm by 190cm), a continental single (90cm by 200cm), a small double (120cm by 190cm) or a 140cm by 190cm double mattress, each on a roll-up slatted base. Where we stock a matching mattress, it's shown above.

Room fit
The Cabin Tent Bed takes 208cm of wall (218cm for a 200cm mattress) and 110cm of floor out from the wall, or 140cm for the small double and 160cm for the double. The roof stands 146cm high (152cm on the double), so it suits most rooms, including under a sloping ceiling if you measure first.
