Is delivery really to a room of choice?

Yes - all beds include Room of Choice delivery (where safe access allows), so your items can be delivered inside the room you need, not just the doorstep.

Can I choose a delivery date?

On many bestselling items, yes. If your product qualifies, you’ll see a delivery date picker on the product page or at checkout. If not, it simply means there’s a longer lead time and we’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready to book delivery.

Will I get tracking and delivery updates?

Absolutely. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking updates by email, plus a 3-hour delivery window (usually the day before). Where available, the driver will also give a 60-minute courtesy call before arrival.

Can I place an order now and delay delivery?

Yes absolutely. If you’d like to secure the item now but arrange delivery for later, we can hold your order for up to 4 months.

Yes of course - you can cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, as long as it’s unused, unassembled, and in the original packaging.

What if my item arrives damaged or has a fault?

No stress - we’ll put it right quickly. If something arrives damaged, missing parts, or faulty, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos/videos, and we’ll arrange the fastest solution (usually replacement parts or a repair, and a replacement/refund if needed).

Can I return a bed after it’s been assembled?

Change-of-mind returns aren’t possible once an item has been assembled.

However, if there’s a confirmed manufacturing fault, it’s still covered and we’ll support you with parts, repair, or the correct resolution.

Can I return a mattress if it’s been opened?

For hygiene reasons, mattresses can only be returned if they remain sealed in their protective packaging (unless faulty). If you’re unsure before opening it, just message us and we’ll happily advise.

Description

Two beds that fit the room, rather than the other way round. The Kingston builds as a classic straight bunk bed, or turn the lower bed 90 degrees for an L-shaped corner bunk that frees up the space under the top bunk for a desk, a reading corner or somewhere to play.

Two layouts in one: a straight bunk to save floor space, or a corner layout to open up the room. It can be built left- or right-handed to suit your space.
Storage built in: a four-shelf unit at the end of the bed, a shelf under the top bunk, a slim ledge for a book, phone or night light, and a pull-out storage drawer under the lower bed.
Room to grow: both bunks take continental single mattresses (90 x 200cm), 10cm longer than a standard single, so it still fits as they grow into their teens.
No slats needed: each bed has a solid base panel with ventilation holes.
Oak and cashmere: a warm oak finish paired with soft cashmere, easy to style in any child's room.
Made in France from 15mm and 22mm particleboard.

Mattresses: you'll need two continental single mattresses (90 x 200cm), no deeper than 15cm on the top bunk, so the guard rails stay high enough. Our ComfortSleep 15, MemoryDream 15 and PocketRest 15 all come in continental single.

Safety: the top bunk is for children aged 6 and over. Keep the top mattress within the maximum depth, hang nothing from the frame, and re-tighten the fixings every few months. The Kingston is made to BS EN 747, the British safety standard for bunk beds. See our bed safety guide.

Planning the corner layout? It needs noticeably more floor space than the straight bunk (see the dimensions), so measure before choosing it.

Our raised beds meet BS EN 747, the British standard covering guard rail height, structural strength and gap sizes. Slatted bases for airflow, smooth edges and child-safe fixings throughout. We're family-run, and if we wouldn't put our own children in it, we wouldn't sell it.

Will it fit?

Almost always, yes. Standard UK ceilings are fine, so it's only worth checking if your room has low or sloping ceilings. Allow 50 to 60cm of clear floor in front of the ladder. Not sure? Send us your room measurements and we'll tell you what fits.

The right mattress, already chosen

Guard rails sit a set distance above the mattress, so one that's too deep reduces that margin. You don't need to work it out: the mattresses shown with this bed are the ones we recommend for it, matched to the right size and within the maximum depth.

Age guidance

The top bunk of a bunk bed and the platform of a high sleeper are for children aged 6 and over, as set out in BS EN 747. Younger children can use the lower bunk safely.
