Frequently Asked Questions

Is delivery really to a room of choice?

Yes - all beds include Room of Choice delivery (where safe access allows), so your items can be delivered inside the room you need, not just the doorstep.

Can I choose a delivery date?

On many bestselling items, yes. If your product qualifies, you’ll see a delivery date picker on the product page or at checkout. If not, it simply means there’s a longer lead time and we’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready to book delivery.

Will I get tracking and delivery updates?

Absolutely. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking updates by email, plus a 3-hour delivery window (usually the day before). Where available, the driver will also give a 60-minute courtesy call before arrival.

Can I place an order now and delay delivery?

Yes absolutely. If you’d like to secure the item now but arrange delivery for later, we can hold your order for up to 4 months.

Simply place your order as normal and leave a note at checkout (or email us straight after ordering) with your preferred delivery timing, and we’ll work with you to book a date that suits.

Return Policy

Returns & Refunds

We want you to shop with confidence. We offer easy returns for peace of mind. If you change your mind, you can return your item within 14 days of delivery, as long as it’s unused and unassembled.

We’re a family-run UK business, if something isn’t right, we’ll always do our best to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return my order if I change my mind?

Yes of course - you can cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, as long as it’s unused, unassembled, and in the original packaging.

What if my item arrives damaged or has a fault?

No stress - we’ll put it right quickly. If something arrives damaged, missing parts, or faulty, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos/videos, and we’ll arrange the fastest solution (usually replacement parts or a repair, and a replacement/refund if needed).

Can I return a bed after it’s been assembled?

Change-of-mind returns aren’t possible once an item has been assembled.

However, if there’s a confirmed manufacturing fault, it’s still covered and we’ll support you with parts, repair, or the correct resolution.

Can I return a mattress if it’s been opened?

For hygiene reasons, mattresses can only be returned if they remain sealed in their protective packaging (unless faulty). If you’re unsure before opening it, just message us and we’ll happily advise.

Assembly Options

This bed comes flat-packed for self-assembly. If you'd rather not build it yourself, you can book a professional assembler through TaskRabbit once your bed has arrived.

How it works

Click the link below, enter your postcode, and choose an assembler based on their reviews and availability. You book and pay them directly.

Before your appointment

Please check that all boxes have arrived and every part is present and undamaged. If anything is missing, get in touch with us and rearrange the fitting, as a visit that can't go ahead may still be charged.

A note on our other beds

Some of our beds include our own room-of-choice assembly, where the same team delivers and builds the bed on the day and takes the packaging away. You'll see it as an option on those product pages.

Description

The Mayfair brings two beds, a wardrobe and extra storage into one compact frame. A clean white finish with vertical ribbed detailing gives it a modern look that suits a shared bedroom for years.

Pull-out wardrobe: a hidden wardrobe slides out to hold clothes, shoes and toys, then tucks away to keep the room tidy.
Storage on the top bunk: a built-in compartment keeps books and bedtime bits within easy reach.
Fixed ladder: on the left-hand side, for secure access to the top bunk.
Guard rails around the top bunk.
Two standard UK singles: takes two 90 x 190cm mattresses, sold separately.

Good to know

The top bunk is for children aged 6 and over.
Use mattresses no deeper than the maximum shown below, so the guard rails stay at a safe height. Our 15cm mattresses, like the MemoryDream 15 and PocketRest 15, fit perfectly.
Complies with BS EN 747, the British and European safety standard for bunk beds.
Made from particle board with a matt foil finish. It arrives flat-packed and needs assembling, ideally by two people.
The ladder is fixed on the left and can't be moved to the other side, so check it suits your room layout.

Overall: 243cm long x 97cm wide x 164cm high
Mattresses: 2 x UK single (90 x 190cm), not included
Maximum mattress depth: 22cm
Ladder: fixed, left-hand side
Bed base: wooden slats
Material: particle board, matt white foil finish
Delivery: flat-packed in 4 boxes, the longest 200cm, total weight 160kg
Assembly: required, two people recommended
Top bunk: suitable from age 6

Made to meet BS EN 747 · Full-length guard rails · Secure fixed ladders · Mattresses matched to this bed .

Our raised beds meet BS EN 747, the British standard covering guard rail height, structural strength and gap sizes. Slatted bases for airflow, smooth edges and child-safe fixings throughout. We're family-run, and if we wouldn't put our own children in it, we wouldn't sell it.

Will it fit?

Almost always, yes. Standard UK ceilings are fine, so it's only worth checking if your room has low or sloping ceilings. Allow 50 to 60cm of clear floor in front of the ladder. Not sure? Send us your room measurements and we'll tell you what fits.

The right mattress, already chosen

Guard rails sit a set distance above the mattress, so one that's too deep reduces that margin. You don't need to work it out: the mattresses shown with this bed are the ones we recommend for it, matched to the right size and within the maximum depth.

Age guidance

The top bunk of a bunk bed and the platform of a high sleeper are for children aged 6 and over, as set out in BS EN 747. Younger children can use the lower bunk safely.

Every raised bed comes with our guarantee.
