The Oscar is a single ottoman bed with a bookcase for a headboard. The whole base lifts on gas pistons to reveal a 27cm-deep storage space underneath, big enough for spare duvets, out-of-season clothes and suitcases, and the headboard has open shelves for books and bedside things.
The ottoman can be built to open from the left or the right, whichever suits the room. There's a large shelf, 53.8cm wide, and a smaller one at 35.2cm, both 16.5cm deep and 23.5cm high, so there's no need for a separate bedside table.
It comes in white or grey. Choose your delivery date in the basket: order by 12pm on a weekday and it can arrive the next working day. It comes flat-packed for self-assembly, with an instruction manual. If you'd rather someone else did it, there's a link to book a local assembler below the returns policy.
It takes a standard UK single mattress, 90cm by 190cm. The mattresses shown above are made for it.

The Oscar takes 214.5cm of wall and 113cm of floor out from the wall. Leave clear space on the opening side so the base can lift fully. At 121.8cm high at the headboard it suits any room.
