Trybike Steel 2-in-1 Balance Bike and Trike

The Trybike starts as a three-wheeled balance trike and converts into a two-wheeled balance bike, so it grows with your child from their first steady scoots to confident gliding. There are no pedals: children push along with their feet, which builds the balance they'll need for a pedal bike later on.

It's built on a powder-coated steel frame with a matt finish, with extra-wide 12-inch air-filled tyres for grip, a low centre of gravity for stability and a footrest for when they start to glide. The seat adjusts from 28 to 47cm, and the front wheel has two height settings. It suits children from 15 months to 6 years and is designed in the Netherlands.

It comes in one box with everything you need to switch from trike to bike, and needs adult assembly. Add a matching helmet, a wicker basket or a vegan leather handlebar bag. Delivery is free in 2 to 5 working days.

When should we switch to two wheels?
When your child can push along and steer confidently on three wheels. There is no set age, so go at their pace.

Does it have pedals?
No. Your child scoots along with their feet. Learning to balance first usually makes the move to a pedal bike easier.

Does it come with a helmet?
