About the Harley
The Harley is a black metal mid sleeper that lifts a single bed off the floor and leaves 73.5cm of clear space underneath. That's room for storage boxes, a chest of drawers or a cosy play area, so a smaller bedroom gets back the floor the bed would otherwise take.
It's lower than a high sleeper, which suits a child who wants a raised bed but isn't ready for a tall one, and it's an easy height for a parent to reach in at bedtime. The frame is robust 1.5mm mild steel, so it stays sturdy and stable in everyday use.
The ladder is angled for a more comfortable, secure climb, with wide steps, and it fits on the left or the right to suit the room. The raised bed is for children aged 6 and over. It arrives flat-packed for self-assembly, with full instructions. If you'd rather someone else did it, there's a link to book a local assembler below the returns policy.
It takes a standard UK single mattress, 90cm by 190cm, no deeper than 15cm. The mattresses shown above come in that size.

Room fit
The Harley needs 200cm of wall and 127.5cm of floor out from the wall, including the angled ladder. At 111cm high it suits most bedrooms, including ones with lower ceilings; allow about 70cm between the top of the mattress and the ceiling for a child to sit up.
