About the Caravan
The Caravan Bed turns a single bed into a little caravan to sleep in. It has a slanted roof with a sliding ecru cloth cover that opens for star gazing, a door that can go on either side, two shelves inside, a storage box on the outside and a personalised number plate with up to eight characters.
It's handmade to order in Belgium by Mathy by Bols, from PEFC-certified timber from sustainably managed forests, and painted in water-based, non-toxic colours. Choose the caravan colour from the 23 listed on this page; the base is always basalt grey. A second colour on the shelves, sliding covers, hooks and roof curve is available on request for a small extra charge. A matching touch-up stick comes with it.
It's low to the ground and suitable from age 3. Because it's made for your order, allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. It comes ready for self-assembly.
It takes a standard UK single mattress, 90cm by 190cm. The mattresses shown above come in that size.
