About the Scandi
The Scandi Toddler Cabin Bed is a first big bed with storage built in. It lifts a standard single just off the floor, with two large drawers underneath for clothes, toys and spare bedding, and a guard rail and short ladder that make bedtime feel like an adventure.
It's made from sustainably sourced Scandinavian pine, finished in Cashmere with oak, a soft, warm neutral that sits between beige, taupe and grey and suits a little one's room as well as an older child's. The ladder has wide steps and fits on the left or the right.
At 83cm high it's a low cabin bed that suits rooms with sloping ceilings. If you'd rather not build it yourself, add Professional Assembly on this page before checkout. The delivery team build it in the room you choose and take the packaging away, so the bed is ready to sleep in the day it arrives.
It takes a standard UK single mattress, 90cm by 190cm, no deeper than 15cm. That figure is a safety measurement, not a suggestion: a deeper mattress raises the sleeping surface and leaves less rail above it. The 15cm mattresses shown above are made for it.
