Thornbury White Pine Triple Bunk Bed with Double Bottom

The Thornbury sleeps three. A full UK double on the bottom, with room for two children to share or for a parent to lie down and settle a younger one at bedtime, and a standard single on top. At 148cm high it's lower than most bunk beds, which suits rooms with lower or sloping ceilings and makes the top bunk less of a climb. The angled ladder is fixed at the end of the top bunk, and the top bunk has full-length guard rails on both sides. Both levels have slatted bases, so there's no divan or box spring to buy, and there's about 23cm under the bottom bunk for storage boxes.

It takes two mattresses. The top bunk takes a UK single, 90cm by 190cm, and its guard rail is designed around a mattress no deeper than 15cm. That figure is a safety measurement, not a suggestion: a deeper mattress raises the sleeping surface and leaves less rail above it.
