About the Ashby
The Ashby triple is the three-sleeper version of our Ashby bunk: a UK single on top and a full UK double below, so it sleeps three in the floor space of one bed. The double bottom bunk has room for two children to share, or for a parent to settle a younger one at bedtime. At 163cm high it's lower than many triple bunks, so it suits rooms with sloping ceilings and keeps the top bunk an easy climb.
It's built in Scandinavian pine, finished in white with oak top rails on the end panels, the same look as the Ashby bunk. The top bunk has guard rails along the front and the full length of the back, and the wide, angled three-step ladder fits on the left or the right, so the bed goes whichever way the room needs.
The top bunk takes a UK single, 90cm by 190cm, no deeper than 15cm, so the guard rails stay high enough above it. The bottom bunk takes a UK double, 135cm by 190cm, and isn't raised, so it can take a deeper mattress if you prefer. The mattresses shown above are matched to both levels.
It arrives flat-packed in 5 boxes for self-assembly, with full instructions. It's a two-person build. If you'd rather not do it yourself, add Professional Assembly on this page before checkout. The delivery team build it in the room you choose and take the packaging away. Delivery is free, in 4 to 14 working days, and it comes with a 5-year guarantee.

Room fit
The Ashby triple needs 201cm of wall and 152cm out from the wall, including the ladder, plus clear floor in front of the ladder. At 163cm high it suits rooms with sloping ceilings, and standard ceilings are fine, with room for a child to sit up on the top bunk.
Questions parents ask
Can two children share the bottom bunk?
Yes. The bottom bunk is a full UK double, 135cm by 190cm, with room for two children to share or for a parent to lie down at bedtime.
Which side does the ladder go?
Either. The ladder can be fitted on the left or the right, so you can put it wherever suits the room.
Is it good for a room with a sloping ceiling?
Yes. At 163cm high, it's lower than many triple bunks, so it suits rooms with sloping ceilings.
Can the bottom bunk take a deeper mattress?
Yes. The 15cm limit is for the guard rails on the top bunk. The bottom bunk isn't raised, so a deeper mattress is fine if you'd like more comfort.
Is there a matching bunk bed?
Yes. The Ashby Detachable Bunk Bed is from the same range, with two single bunks and an optional pull-out trundle.
What weight can each bunk take?
The recommended maximum is 90kg on the top bunk and 150kg on the double bottom bunk.
