The Jax Gaming High Sleeper is built for how kids and teens actually use their rooms: sleep up top, game and study in the space below. Finished in sleek black, it lifts the bed up high and frees the whole floor beneath for a proper setup, with a desk that runs the full width of the frame.
That desk is the point. At almost two metres wide and 55cm deep, there is real room for a large monitor or two, a gaming PC or console, a keyboard and all the peripherals, with space left over to spread out for homework. Add a chair and the area underneath becomes a dedicated gaming and study zone rather than a cramped corner.
Unlike most beds at this level, the Jax has a solid pine frame rather than board, so it feels sturdy and stands up to daily use. The structural parts are solid timber, with MDF used for non-structural elements such as the desk surface and panels. The ladder fits on either side to suit the room, full-length guard rails keep the top bunk secure, and it is built to meet BS EN 747, the British safety standard for high sleepers. It takes a standard UK single mattress, and if black is not the look, it also comes in white and dark olive green.
