A run of open display shelves sits along the top, with house-shaped dividers that give it real character, ideal for books, plants and the bits and pieces that make a room theirs. Below, a built-in desk gives a dedicated spot for homework or gaming, and three drawers keep clothes, stationery and clutter tidied away. It is a practical setup for the school years, where study space and storage are always in short supply.

Finished in crisp white with warm oak-effect accents, the Freya suits modern bedrooms and works as well for a younger child growing into it as for a teen who needs a study zone. The ladder can be fitted on either side to suit your room, and full-length guard rails keep the top bunk secure. It takes a standard UK single mattress and is built to meet BS EN 747, the British safety standard for high sleepers.
